Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Urban Club Packers and Movers. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Urban Club Packers and Movers's website and services.

Definitions

• Company: Urban Club Packers and Movers
• Quotation or Estimate: Refers to the no obligation contract between the Company and the Customer on the mutually agreed terms and conditions.
• Customer: The person contracting with the Company to provide the Services, whether or not he is the owner of the Goods or Fixtures.
• Goods: Refers to the items in relation to which Relocation Services are to be provided. Excludes certain items such as coins, cash, securities, Jewellery, Perishable goods, hazardous materials, and other specified items.
• Handyman Services: Company does not take responsibility for dismantling or reassembling certain furniture or appliances. Customers are advised to make prior arrangements for such materials.
• Vehicle Shifting: Includes requirements such as providing relevant documents, fuel requirements, and other conditions for vehicle transportation.

Services

The Services are provided within normal working hours of the Company, with exceptions for pre-booked 24-hour services in Mumbai.

Quotations submitted by the Company are open for acceptance for a period of 15 days.

Once accepted, the quotation and all terms therein shall be binding.

Customer Responsibilities

The Customer shall ensure adequate access to relevant premises for the purpose of performing the Services.

Extra charges may apply for narrow access or if the customer does not provide adequate access.

Exclusions

The Company excludes certain services and conditions from its relocation services, such as split pickups, plant removals, and long carry charges.

Unpacking material and debris are considered company property and may be charged if retained by the customer.

Insurance Coverage

The Insurance does not cover loss or damage arising from certain acts or items.

Internal damages are not covered unless there are signs of external physical damage.

Liability and Claims

No liability will be accepted by the Company unless given a reasonable opportunity to inspect damage.

The Customer undertakes not to make claims against any servant or agent of the Company.

Payment

Payment needs to be done prior to packing/dispatch by cheque/credit card. Credit may be given with terms and conditions, but complete payment is required before delivery.

Governing Law

Work undertaken as a result of this quotation will be done on the basis of the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
